ASAP Checks, Forms & Supplies is one of the few MICR Toner suppliers in North America that has the products, expertise and test equipment to fully support both ANS/ABA (American Bankers Association) and the tougher CPA (Canadian Payments Association) standards. Typical toner cartridge suppliers have no way to ensure that their products will consistently comply with standards, or be able to help if your bank responds with service charges when checks cannot be processed automatically.
For years, our high quality MICR products have been sold internationally, often by other companies under their own label.
If you find a lower price, the supplier likely took a (risky) shortcut in their cartridge remanufacturing, or is using less toner. For example, in our remanufactured models, instead of recoating the drum we *always* use a brand new, high quality replacement drum. And sample MICR documents are printed from every one of our cartridges and tested using high-end MICR analysis equipment by knowledgeable staff.
